01What does Mizan do?
Buying
- Each purchase line says what you are paying for: the good portion only, or the whole delivered weight — and shows your real cost per kilo before you save
- The whole delivered quantity enters the warehouse as one lot with its full cost, while the yield rate decides only what you pay
- Packaging weight is deducted before price and yield
- A discount on a line is money with a reason from a fixed list, which then feeds supplier evaluation: how often, how much, what share of that supplier's purchases, and the most common reason
Making
- Processing runs that compare expected against actual: output variance, waste variance and cost variance per unit
- Lots and inventory, warehouses, transfers and stock valuation
Money
- A supplier account that is recomputed from orders and payments rather than accumulated, so it corrects itself; a payment allocates to the oldest due first, can be refunded, and can be moved to the right supplier when booked wrongly

- A payments centre showing owed, paid and remaining per counterparty

02Does Mizan handle certification bodies?
Yes — there is a module for organic certification work: operators and their certificates, an immutable organic balance ledger, versioned fee schedules, applications and quotations, and an audit cycle where the technical reviewer must be someone other than the auditor and no auditor can be double-booked. Periodic declarations are reconciled against the factory's actual stock, and acceptance is blocked while a difference remains.
03Is it used for real?
Yes. Mizan runs live for herb and spice processing and export companies and for a certification body, with each company's data separate.
